"REBELIOUS ROCKABILLY—“Hilary Marckx, by himself, or as the engine in his band (45-90), evokes the classic rockabilly and country of eras gone by. Rebellious themes of drinking, fighting, women and cars are all delivered smoothly, with humor and the genuine soul of a person who has lived it. Hilary's prolific range of songs is presented to suit each audience artfully and professionally. His performances go from rock and roll in the vein of Charlie Feathers to the story telling style of Johnny Cash. Whether a small club or big festival, his music paints a good time.” — Shonda Honkonon, Show Producer — Fun Monkey Productions "

"C-R-O-P Walk (SONG) “Hilary Marckx made the CROP Hunger Walk a little more fun and exciting through his song, "C-R-O-P Walk". The lyrics and harmony are simple and easy to learn, and it catches the whole spirit of what a CROP Hunger Walk is: Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty. This song debuted this past spring, and since then several CROP Hunger Walks have used it to start their walk and to rally walkers to get excited about raising money to fight local and global hunger. It's a hit! Thanks, Hilary!” — The Rev. Vy T. Nguyen, Assistant Regional Director Church World Service Southwest Region"

"Hi Hilary....Just have to say your CD is definitely different then what I usually get. I enjoyed it. Authentic rock-a-billy and country folk. Windmill Music has been primarily dealing with blues artists but have changed our format with the additions of Sonya Kahn a brilliant young song-writer out of L.A I Liked your guitar and vocal on the rock-a-billy track "Rock You Up". The country ballad "Livin' Down The Memory Of You" is very cool. Real country feel and very authentic because you are. I can tell you have been doing this a long time. I liked the haunting harmonica on the Johnny Cash sounding song "Borderlands of Hell". Good song. I love the title of the last cut "Dance Floor Of Time". You cats sound like your having fun. I especially enjoyed the walking bass and the guitar solo. — "
